Project Description

Kings Park & Botanical Gardens

K

ings Park is a 400 hectare inner city park combining native bushland and botannical gardens. It is home to over 3 000 species of WA’s native flora. At Fraser Avenue, the park provides sweeping views of the Perth city skyline and the Swan River. Points of interest include the State War Memorial, the Federation Walkway tree top walk, The Boab Tree and the DNA Tower Climb. You can also find bush and running trails, children’s play areas, art galleries cafes and restaurants. The Kings Park Botanical Gardens are a perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a picnic on the lawns.

There are free guided walks every day (except Christmas Day) at 10am, 12 noon and 2pm.  Walks start opposite the Aspects of Kings Park Gallery Shop.

The motel is located directly across from Kings Park bushland. The closest access point by car is via Saw Avenue.

You can pick up a free map at the motel reception.
